Fray, the Vampire Slayer
Old sculpture of Joss Whedon’s Fray from her self-titled graphic novel. This pose is an exact replica from the back of the graphic novel.
Since this sculpture I have mostly worked on miniature food.
You can see my progress pics of this project here.
She did have a stake on the end of the axe, but unfortunately since it was real wood it has broken off.
I get this chip out, you and me are gonna have a confrontation.
I honestly believe that the thing that pushed Spike over the edge in his obsession with Buffy was this confrontation with Faith. He was already obsessed with Buffy, especially with his inability to kill her (which was his initial goal, and as Angel informed us, once Spike sets his mind to something, he doesn’t stop until he’s achieved his goal).
the last gif is the best

Angel: Season 2
First part is the fun spaghetti mixing process to get the clay to a nice even gray tone. Needs to be gray to show imperfections and so that painting is easier.
Second picture is the sculpture with basic blocking. Definitely no details yet, just lumping clay on for a basic form.

Quick front and side of Melaka Fray so I could get an idea of how to sculpt her. Also armature points.
There goes all that money…

was AMAZING.

Halloween costume pictures coming soon.
At the moment though, a nap may be in order.

Spike: I’ve lived for sodding ever Buffy, I’ve done everything. Done things with you I can’t spell. But I’ve never… been close. To anyone, least of all you, untill last night. All I did was hold you, watch you sleep. And it was the best night of my life. So yeah, I’m terrified.
Buffy: You don’t have to be.
Spike: Were you there with me?
Buffy: I was.
